Choose the right text tool
Use Word Counter to check writing length and Character Counter when you need a specific character measurement. Text Compare helps you review revisions, while Keyword Density Checker shows how often words and phrases occur.
For editing, choose Find and Replace to change known text, Remove Extra Spaces to clean whitespace, or Remove Duplicate Lines to tidy repeated list entries. Use the conversion tools to change case, sort lines, reverse text or create a slug.
Simple workflows for everyday tasks
- Organize a list: clean spacing with Remove Extra Spaces, remove repeated entries with Remove Duplicate Lines, then arrange the result in Text Sorter.
- Review a draft: measure it with Word Counter, make targeted edits with Find and Replace, then check the revisions in Text Compare.
- Prepare a page: check field length with Character Counter and create a path identifier with Text to Slug Converter. Use Lorem Ipsum Generator when a layout still needs placeholder content.
Copy your chosen result before moving between pages. Text is not transferred automatically from one tool to another.
Languages, accuracy and privacy
Different tasks use different text rules. Code points, graphemes, UTF-16 units and UTF-8 bytes are distinct measurements. Sorting and matching can also depend on your selected options. Each tool explains its own limits.
Arabic has no uppercase or lowercase distinction. Choose Unicode mode in the slug converter to retain Arabic letters rather than removing them in ASCII mode.
The processing code runs in your browser without an external text-processing API. This directory filters tool descriptions locally and does not store or transfer your document. Clipboard actions, other website scripts and browser extensions may have their own permissions or behavior.
Frequently asked questions
Are these text tools free?
Yes. All 12 tools can be used without a paid subscription or a FreeToolIQ account. Individual tools apply input limits to keep browser processing manageable.
Can I upload a Word or PDF document?
These tools work with pasted text. Copy the passage you need from your document and paste it into the selected tool. Images and document formatting are not preserved as plain text.
Does Remove Duplicate Lines delete repeated words?
It compares whole lines, not individual words inside a paragraph. Put each list entry on a separate line. To inspect repeated words without deleting them, use Keyword Density Checker.
Is keyword density a ranking score?
No. It reports frequency calculations for the supplied text. It does not predict search rankings or give a universal target percentage.
Why can character totals differ?
A tool may count code points, graphemes, UTF-16 units or UTF-8 bytes. Those measurements are not interchangeable. Check the measurement label and any line-ending normalization described on the tool page.
